Helen is the Founder and Managing Director of SportLinQ. She is an energetic and professional educator with over 30 years experience in teaching Health, Physical Education and Sport Education across Primary and Secondary schools in Australia.
Since transitioning out of teaching, Helen has remained deeply involved in the education and sport sectors, from grassroots through to state and national level. She brings extensive expertise in leadership, training and project management, design, development and implementation.
Helen is passionate about the power of sport to motivate, empower and inspire young people to embrace challenges and seize opportunities to grow and learn about themselves. Her extensive professional networks, dedication to fostering collaboration and forming strategic partnerships enables SportLinQ to positively impact the lives of young people and expand the reach of sport in communities.

MELBOURNE UNITED BASKETBALL CLUB
SportLinQ's STAND TALL values education program is the flagship program of the Melbourne United Foundation. The Foundation recognises the importance of education as a vehicle to inspire and provide students the tools to reach their full potential.
The program inspires primary school students to reflect and practice the values of the Melbourne United basketball club as they develop their knowledge and skills to adapt to life’s challenges both on and off the court.
TRANSPORT VICTORIA, DEPT. of EDUCATION and TAC
The Safe Active Travel and Protective Behaviours units of work were developed by SportlinQ, with funding and support from the Department of Education, Department of Transport and Planning and the Transport Accident Commission (TAC). The units are designed to support all Victorian schools- including primary, secondary and specialist schools- with teaching materials that align with the new Victorian Curriculum 2.0. The content is practical, easy to use, and includes differentiated activities that support all students.

ACTIVE KIDS, ACTIVE MINDS
The MINDSET MATTERS Program assists students in Years 3-6 understand how their mindset impacts their feelings, attitudes, behaviours and wellbeing. The four-week program enriches current Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) programs delivered in schools. It is aligned to the Australian Curriculum as well as the Victorian Respectful Relationships curriculum.
In-classroom discussions and on-court practical experiences give structure and meaning to the values of RESILIENCE, RESPECT, TEAMWORK and LEADERSHIP.
